Critical Path Review

Technique

A scheduling technique for identifying the tasks and dependencies that control whether the project can finish on time.

Description

A critical path review shows which work must happen in sequence and which delays would affect the whole schedule. In immersive projects, key dependencies often involve builds, assets, hardware, approvals, capture sessions, testing windows, installation dates, and venue access.

Typical Use

Used during production scheduling, risk planning, milestone review, budget planning, installation delivery, and festival or client preparation.

Scope Note

This technique may include dependency maps, milestone checks, blocking tasks, approval needs, staffing limits, delivery deadlines, and contingency notes.
