RACI Matrix

Technique

A project management technique for clarifying who is responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed for key tasks or decisions.

Description

A RACI matrix helps prevent confusion about ownership. It shows who does the work, who approves it, who gives input, and who needs updates. In immersive projects, this is useful because creative, technical, production, venue, and access decisions often cross team boundaries.

Typical Use

Used during stakeholder management, production scheduling, risk planning, exhibition operations planning, team onboarding, and partner coordination.

Scope Note

This technique may include task lists, decision areas, named owners, approval roles, consultation roles, update needs, and review dates.
