Partner Check-in

Technique

A stakeholder technique for keeping collaborators, funders, venues, or community partners aligned during a project.

Description

A partner check-in creates a regular moment to share progress, risks, needs, and decisions. It helps prevent surprises and gives partners a clear route to raise concerns. In immersive projects, check-ins are especially useful when many groups share responsibility for access, venue setup, public communication, or subject matter.

Typical Use

Used during stakeholder management, community consultation, production scheduling, risk planning, festival preparation, and public installation planning.

Scope Note

This technique may include agenda notes, progress updates, open questions, risk items, decision records, partner needs, and follow-up actions.
